BAZAAR, also known as the Egyptian Bazaar is one of the oldest bazaar in the
city. It is so named because various spice types from the Orient were
offered here in the past. CABLE CAR, PIERRE LOTI HILL, ride up to the
beautifull hill where you can see the most interesting view of the Golden
Horn with a cable car. The hill may make you a poet like a Pierre Loti who
is well known poet and author was enraptured by Istanbul and he came here
often to watch the beauties of the Golden Horn and Istanbul. GOLDEN HORN,
with the Sea of Marmara, the Golden Horn encloses a peninsula. It forms a
deep natural harbor. The Byzantine Empire had its naval headquarters there,
and the walls were built along the shoreline to protect the city of
Constantinople from Naval attacks. BOSPHORUS CRUISE, by boat cruise on the
Bosphorus the water way divides the both c ontinents Asia & Europe, you will
be able to take marvellous pictures of the palaces, wooden houses and lots
of monuments on the boat. RUMELI FORTRESS (NO INTERIOR VISIT), was built by
the conquerer of Istanbul, Fatih Sultan Mehmet the Conquest on 1453 to
protect and control the Bosphorus. LUNCH CHORA CHURCH (Kariye), is
considered to be one of the most beautifull examples of a Byzantine Church.
Cnora Church was originally built outside the walss of the Constantinople,
to the South of the Golden Horn. Its full name was the Church of the Holy
Saviour in the Country. The original church on this site was built in the
early 5th century. ANCIENT CITY WALLS, we will drive along the Walls of
Constantinople which are a series of sone walls that have surrounded and
protected the city of Constantinople since its founding as the capital of
the Eastern Roman Empire by Constantine the Great to the present day. With
numerous additions and modifications
during their history, they are one the
greatest and most complex fortification systems ever built. EYUP MOSQUE &
DISTRICT, the name comes from Abu Ayyub al-Ansari, the companion and the
standart bearer of the Prophet Muhammed. His resting place was venerated
during the Byzantine times but after the Latin Rampage through Istanbul in
the Fourth Cruscade fell into an unkempt state, along with many other
Byzantine holy places. Seven centuties later, during the conquest of
Constantinople, the tomb was re-discovered by Ak Semsettin.
